ALFAS L9 Plus

The ALFAS L9 Plus is an electric scooter for adults or at least teenagers. Much more massive than the T10 of the same brand, it looks more like a Xiaomi M365 or a Ninebot ES2. It has a 700-watt engine that can reach 30 km/h.

The L9 Plus is equipped with a lithium battery of 15Ah with a voltage of 48V which gives it a range of about 50 kilometers. This model has front and rear suspensions, tubeless air wheels, mechanical disc brake, an application connected in Bluetooth to change some parameters. Let’s go into more details in this test now.

Once you arrive home, simply mount the handlebars using the screws provided in the pack, with even a small tool bag. Be aware that the handlebar is not adjustable in height and it is quite high. The ALFAS L9 Plus is therefore more suitable for adults or teenagers.

The throttle is located on the right side of the handlebars via a trigger that you activate with your thumb. For braking, it’s like on a bike with the brake to be operated with the left hand. You can also brake with your foot by pressing on the flexible mudguard of the rear wheel.

Let’s talk about the folding system of the ALFAS L9 Plus, we find a latch that allows by activating it to unlock the whole part of the handlebar and thus the scooter (it is practical and secure). There is also a stand for easy parking, a headlight in the front and red LEDs on the rear fender for night riding. Then, in the middle of the handlebars, there is an LCD control screen, used to follow the battery status, to see your speed in real time and to choose your speed mode or to turn on the headlight if needed.

As we can see, the ALFAS L9 Plus scooter doesn’t have the incredible torque to maintain a constant speed on climbs and is a bit heavy (15.6 kg). For the rest, there is only good stuff. The autonomy is very good for its price, the features are numerous and practical. Riding comfort is superior to some more expensive scooters.

The 8.5-inch inflated wheels and suspension make the difference. We are well stable on it and the mechanical brake ensures a perfect safety. The ALFAS L9 Plus scooter seems robust and durable. We recommend it for short daily trips!
