Description
Alfawise U20 Mix 3D Printer
The Alfawise U20 Mix 3D printer is an evolution of the classic U20 with the printing volume of 300 x 300 x 400 mm and gains a double Z axis. Its chassis remains in aluminium and the additive manufacturing is done by an MK8 print head with a single extruder. Just like the traditional U20, Alfawise has not created anything and uses the Longer3D LK-1 model in white mark. The U20 Mix competes with the Creality CR10 S4 in terms of its electronic base and equipment. The thickness of the layers can vary between 100 and 400 microns.
If the printing volume of the U20 Mix is identical to that of the U10 from the same manufacturer, Alfawise is abandoning its original model to build on the success of the U20 and to develop a range of products, like Creality, which offers multiple versions of its CR-10. In terms of technical characteristics, the 0.4 mm nozzle extrudes filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm in the following materials: PLA, ABS, PVA, PP, TPU, wood, carbon fiber… The nozzle heats up to 250°C and the heating plate reaches a temperature of 100°C for a good adhesion of the objects on the printing bed. The working speed varies between 20 and 150 mm/s and the jobs can be executed from the touch screen of 2.8″ and the SD card. In addition, the Alfawise U20 Mix is compatible with the most common slicer software: Cura, Repetier-Host, Simplify3D…

Hello, I would like to know if I can use aluminum or metal wire for the alfawise U20 Mix 3D Printer. If this is not possible you can advise me for a mixed plastic and metal printer.
