If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how much I love vacuums. Therefore, today we are checking out yet another vacuum. The one that I have is called BlitzWolf BW-HC1 and this is definitely the most powerful cordless vacuum that I’ve tried so far. It has a suction power of 25KPa.
Out of the box, you immediately realize that it is a quality product, with premium finishes and construction. It may not use the same materials that we find in the more expensive models from Roborock or Dreame, but you simply have nothing to complain about. The BlitzWolf BW-HC1 adopts a design similar to what we find in most Jimmy vacuum cleaners, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
All accessories can be installed quickly with a single click. You do not need a user manual (even if it comes with a fairly thick one), everything is intuitive and easy to install. Like any other vertical vacuum cleaner, it can also be used without problems as a portable (hand-held) vacuum cleaner for cleaning the machine.
Because it is equipped with a fairly large dust container (it has a capacity of 0.7 liters) and a very powerful engine, it is not the most compact and light car vacuum cleaner you can have. For such a thing, I recommend a dedicated one, but in case you don’t want to spend extra, you can do a very good job with it as well.
In terms of autonomy, the vacuum cleaner integrates 8 2500mAh batteries, being able to ensure up to 70 minutes of continuous use. It should be noted that this autonomy is only obtained when used in Normal mode (ie in the first suction stage), without the electric brush for the installed floor. As the suction power increases, the autonomy decreases, reaching 30 minutes of use in the second suction stage and only 9 minutes used at maximum power.
If used with an electric brush, the autonomy decreases significantly, managing to ensure only 45 minutes of use in the first suction stage, 22 minutes in the second suction stage and 8 minutes used at maximum power.
In my experience, the first and second suction stages are sufficient in most cases. The carpet brush does its job well, very rarely you will choose to use the vacuum cleaner at maximum power. Usually, I use it in the last suction step, then I want to suck the cat’s hair from the carpet, without going through the same place very often, because in the first step it doesn’t manage to gather all the hair. There’s no problem on the floor, obviously.
The battery is not removable, if it is discharged, the vacuum cleaner will have to be charged. A full charge takes 4-5 hours, depending on how discharged the battery is. It does not have a very precise indicator for displaying battery capacity, only an LED that is green when charged, and red when the vacuum cleaner is about to run out of battery. Given its price, I did not expect to have an LED display, but at least a few extra LEDs, to know better how to organize cleaning.
I think BlitzWolf BW-HC1 can successfully replace the classic vacuum cleaner and even the mop. It is made of quality materials, has very pleasant finishes, is practical and comfortable, and the fact that it comes with a lot of accessories makes it perfect to be easily used in any room. Even if the mop is not very efficient, for refreshing the vacuumed surfaces I think it is more than good.
