Chuwi RZBOX

With the RZBOX, Chuwi offers a new Mini-PC that could be a hit with its AMD Ryzen 9 4900H processor and its particularly compact format. However, this little RZBOX does not do anything fancy with no less than two 2280 M.2 slots for two PCI-E SSDs, while two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots are present with a support for memory sticks up to 3200 MHz.

The connectivity is also complete, a USB Type-C port and a USB Type-A on the front, but in 2.0, plus two sockets for sound. At the back, the video outputs are there with an HDMI, a DisplayPort and even a VGA. For the rest, there are two Ethernet outputs in GbE, two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports.

If the connectivity could have been richer, we should not forget the blower type cooling system that extracts the hot air on the back of the machine, thus cutting the available space. As the case looks like a radiator, it remains to be seen how Chuwi has designed its system.

The machine will be available from 500 USD in barebone, but versions 8 / 256 and 16 / 512 are also part of the game to meet a maximum of needs. For the moment, you just have to go through a participatory financing campaign to take advantage of it. A surprising choice since the stocks are there, Chuwi indicating that shipments will begin at the end of the campaign.
