Creality 3D® LD-002R

The Creality LD-002R uses UV LCD printing technology with high accuracy and speed and surpasses even a few hundred euros more expensive conventional FDM 3D printers. In addition, it is easy to assemble and operate.

Perhaps the biggest highlight of the Creality LD-002R is, compared to the already conventional FDM printers, the very high printing accuracy from 0.02 to 0.05 mm. This is mainly due to the UV LCD display with a high 2K resolution , which can capture even the smallest details.

The accuracy of 26.1 μm² per surface is comparable to professional printers for several thousand euros. It cures photopolymers layer by layer using UV light. In this way, it can perform multiple tasks at once and thus achieves high print speeds. These are exactly values ​​of 20 to 30 mm per hour. The Creality LD-002R also has an activated carbon filtration system and a double fan for indoor printing. It will not smell at all during work and the air will be clean. It has a quality metal structure with a stable Z axis.

The print volume, ie the dimensions it can print, is 119 x 65 x 160 mm. The printer weighs 7 kg and the overall dimensions that the printer forms when completely assembled are 221 x 221 x 403 mm. It also includes a 3.5″ touch screen for printer control, the possibility of printing via a USB key, supports STL/CTB formats and has a very simple height adjustment option. Although this 3D printing technology is one of the oldest, it still has the benefits of fast and accurate printing, which simply 3D printers with FDM technology cannot achieve at this price.
