The Fiido X is the new folding electric bicycle from Fiido, the Chinese brand famous for its high-performance and practical folding ebikes. This new model is a real promise for those who want a versatile and easily transportable with high autonomy to move in an urban context. In fact, the Hong Kong company declares a battery life that should allow you to travel up to 100 km. The official announcement of Fiido arrived about a month ago and currently a crowdfunding campaign has been launched to realize the new ebike Fiido X.

What is most surprising when looking at the data of the Fiido X folding e-bike is definitely its high autonomy, declared at 100 km by the company. To reach this goal, the Chinese company decided to mount a 410 Wh (36 V and 11.6 Ah) battery on this folding e-bike.

Hidden inside the frame, below the saddle, the accumulator is easily removable for charging and is well integrated into the context. The clean lines and modern design make the Fiido X a folding ebike suitable for everyone, from the most to the least young.

The motor is 250 W and boasts compact dimensions and a very low weight. It too is practically invisible because it is hidden in the hub of the rear wheel, but it is still capable of delivering the power necessary to overcome even the steepest climbs.

The maximum speed of the Fiido X is 25 km/h, as required by EU law.

The declared autonomy of 100 km can be approached if Eco mode is used. This is the least wasteful of the three modes provided on this ebike, all of which can be selected intuitively via the easy-to-read LCD display.

The Fiido X is perfect for moving safely in an urban context and easily foldable to be transported on public transport and in the trunk of your car. The practicality of this folding ebike is to be found in the choices made by the engineers of the Chinese brand: it can be folded in just 5 seconds thanks to the special mechanism.

The material chosen for the frame is in fact a lightweight aluminum alloy, which allows to obtain a weight of just under 13 kg (excluding battery). Its lightness allows it to be transported without too much effort and its closed dimensions 84 x 40 x 59 cm (H x W x D) make it very compact.

Complete with disc brakes and 20-inch wheels, the Fiido X is equipped with a 7-speed Shimano drivetrain. Along with the pedal assist levels, the rider who mounts the saddle can then also play with the gearbox to have the most suitable ratio for every situation.

The seatpost, where we find the battery, also boasts an integrated rear light that, combined with the front one, allows you to always be visible in traffic. Other elements that make up this folding ebike include the comfortable saddle and ergonomically designed handlebars.

Offered in a single Sky Blue color, the Fiido X can currently be ordered from the Indiegogo website where the crowdfunding campaign to make it has been launched.
