IMILAB V1

The IMILAB V1 is a robot vacuum cleaner from Xiaomi that incorporates a charging station capable of vacuuming dust from the robot itself automatically and will be available from August 23 on AliExpress.

IMILAB, founded in April 2014, is a brand belonging to Xiaomi that at the moment had security cameras and smartwatches on the market. IMILAB has a sales volume of more than 20 million products and 3 million users on its apps. IMILAB has now announced its entry into the field of robot vacuum cleaners in a big way with the IMILAB V1.

The IMILAB V1 robot is equipped with a powerful and highly efficient motor that allows it to obtain a suction of up to 2700 Pa at maximum power. This allows it to remove everything from encrusted dust to small objects such as pebbles.

On the right side it has a side brush that allows a faster cleaning and the possibility to reach hard to reach areas.

They have a double tank with 300 ml capacity for dust and 250 ml capacity for water, thanks to that, you can vacuum and wet mop at the same time.

The robot is able to recognize different types of surfaces and this comes in handy with carpets. For example, when the robot detects thick and shaggy carpets, it will automatically increase the suction power to get a better cleaning. Also, when it is in scrubbing mode, it can recognize the carpet and avoid it.

Another advantage of the IMILAB V1 is that the charging base, called V1 Dirt, also serves as a self-cleaning station. When the robot returns from cleaning the entire house, the base sucks all the dirt out of the robot vacuum cleaner’s tank and stores it in a vacuum bag inside with a capacity of up to 3 liters.

Thanks to this, we do not have to be aware of emptying the robot’s tank every time we put it on and we will never see the message that the robot needs our attention because the tank is full. Very practical and allows us to save even more time.

It has LDS laser navigation that creates a map of the house accurately and quickly without the need to go knocking on the walls or furniture. In addition, these maps are recorded and can be used with the app to organize cleaning zones with different rooms, virtual walls, etc.

In addition, the Imprint Smart Mapping technology allows the V1 to recognize the different rooms automatically which prevents the robot from getting lost even when it does not start vacuuming from the base or when we move the base.

Of course, with the app we can see the robot’s path, decide which rooms to clean, adjust the power, etc., all with a few clicks through the Mi Home APP.
