JIMMY H9 Pro

JIMMY, in partnership with Xiaomi, is bringing new and better vacuum cleaners at an accelerating pace and one of the new top vacuum cleaners is the JIMMY H9 Pro. The H9 Pro is a top of the range vacuum with rough suction, very long run time, adjustable horizontal hose, flexible hose, replaceable battery, plenty of accessories to reach every cleaning point and a replaceable battery, and even has a display.

JIMMY is known for their colourful vacuum cleaners and they don’t contradict that with the H9 Pro, although this one has been given a more subdued grey/orange colour combination. It’s adaptable to different situations, making it great for cleaning furniture upholstery, cars, etc.

The design adds several useful features, one of which is the dust bin that is laid on its side rather than upright, making it easier to empty. More importantly, however, it has a tube that can be broken at right angles, the usefulness of which is perfectly illustrated in the picture below.

Then there’s the display, where you can immediately see important things like the remaining battery charge and current suction mode. It can be used in four modes, with three different suction power settings: energy saving, turbo, maximum. It can also automatically adjust its suction power, switching to lower suction power on hard surfaces and higher suction power on carpets. The suction power is 200AW, 25 000 Pa suction power, produced by a 600 W motor.

The maximum suction power gives very serious suction power, with the manufacturer’s promise of picking up even the toughest things with ease. Believe it or not, the slightly weaker JV63 (test here) will eat gravel with ease.

The disadvantage of a rotary brush is that hair and bristles can get caught on it, but the manufacturer promises that this is not the case. With multiple filtration and a HEPA filter, it filters out dust, allergens, etc., so nothing gets back into the air and protects the motor. The filter is washable. It can be used to clean parquet, tiles, carpets, upholstery, furniture and obviously even cars, with the help of accessories.

The advantage is that it comes with a separate stand, not just a wall bracket. So it doesn’t need to be mounted and can be placed anywhere. The battery is easily replaceable and can be charged separately from the vacuum cleaner.

The JIMMY H9 Pro can be used in three modes with three different suction powers: energy-saving (80 minutes of use), turbo (30 minutes of use) and maximum suction power of 25 000 Pa (17 minutes of use). This changes when the electric head is also in use, in which case you can count on 60, 25, 15 minutes (15 is a bit harsh for this suction power).
