Description
A new Android TV device is coming to the market. This time it’s the MECOOL KM2, with top technical features and support for Netflix 4K, YouTube 4K, and Prime Video 4K. At the moment you can buy it at a discount of just over 70 euros thanks to the discount code that we propose at the bottom.
It is important to note that MECOOL KM2 is a Google Certified device, with Android TV 10 on board. This means, of course, maximum support for all apps and platforms designed for Android TV, such as Netflix and other video platforms, which will benefit from viewing at the highest resolution, i.e. 4K.
Supports Google Assistant via button on the remote, which among other things enjoys quick start buttons for Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and Play Movies. KM2 is therefore a device that turns the living room TV into a true multimedia center, with support for streaming platforms up to 4K@60 fps. The device supports 4K HDR, HDR10 and Dolby Audio, as well as enjoying L1 widevine support for watching Netflix at full resolution.
Inside is an Amlogic S905X2 Quad Core ARM Cortex A53 CPU, assisted by an ARM Mail-G31 MP2 GPU and a 2GB DDR4 memory, eMMC 8GB. Connectivity-wise it offers HDMI 2.1 with HDCP 2.3, optical SPDIF, RJ-45 for Ethernet, USB 2.0 Type A and USB 3.0 Type A.
Obviously, in the package there is also the remote control for full control of the TV Box, with dedicated buttons for the quick start of the most popular streaming apps, where it also does not lack the quick button to invoke the Google Assistant, and control some functions via voice command. Of course, it enjoys built-in Chromecast. The small white TV box has dimensions of 18.00 x 11.00 x 6.50 cm, so really small, with the possibility of placing it on any TV table.
