Roborock H7

A year after the debut of the first electric broom Roborock H6, Xiaomi returns to the fore with the new model Roborock H7, which while inheriting many features from the previous generation goes to integrate new ones and improve others. This vacuum cleaner, in fact, can boast many cutting-edge features and a truly amazing data sheet at an affordable price and far from Dyson products from which it draws inspiration.

With a 420W motor and 160AW suction power, the new Roborock H7 electric broom is capable of capturing deep-seated dirt from carpets, beds, couches, car seats and more. The energy needed to unleash that power is provided by an 80 Wh lithium polymer battery that recharges in just 2.5 hours, compared to 4 hours for the previous model. According to manufacturer estimates, the power will remain almost unchanged (85%) even after 400 charging cycles. However, before connecting the electric broom to the power supply, you will be able to clean the house for 90 minutes in ECO mode (15AW), 45 minutes in standard mode (45AW) and 8 minutes at full power (160AW). Also, by virtue of the 75dB claimed by the company, the motor stays pretty quiet and you won’t have to worry about disturbing your neighbors during operation.

The incoming air is filtered through 5 layers, multi-cyclonic system and double filters, including HEPA to capture 99.99% of pollutant particles and allergens down to 0.3 µm. The suction is kept constant at all times regardless of the battery level or remaining capacity of the container, easily monitored through the OLED display that also allows you to manage the various modes. Just as on the company’s robot vacuums, an adaptive Boost mode has been adopted on Roborock H7: when a carpet is detected, suction power automatically increases for more thorough cleaning.

To make it easier to reach remote areas of the home and to transport, Roborock H7 maintains its weight at 1.46 kg, almost the same as H6, although the power and capacity of the dirt receptacle are increased (from 400 to 500 ML). Despite being equipped with dust bags, this component can be easily removed and washed to remove encrusted dirt. For added comfort, there is no need to hold down the button and your fingers can remain at rest thanks to the lock button.

Also worth mentioning compared to the past generation is the child lock and the MagBase magnetic accessories included: crevice tube, hose and motorized mini-brush, which will allow you to act on all kinds of surfaces. Finally, to recharge the battery you can make use of the docking stand mounted on the wall.
