Description
If you want to buy an electric bike, there is a good offer on the Smlro C6 that is a little different from all the others because it uses a more powerful motor, so it is able to offer better performance. Instead of the usual 350-watt motor that we find in many other vehicles of this type, this bike mounts a 500-watt, which promises a maximum speed of 35 kilometers per hour, then well above the 25 km / h currently allowed by Italian law.
This means that it should be considered at the level of a scooter and to be able to circulate on the road must be licensed and driven with the requirement of a helmet. Alternatively, there are no constraints if you drive it on private roads or circuits or perhaps, by replacing the tires, for mountain roads, where all this power could be particularly useful for the most challenging climbs.
Also because this bike offers two modes of travel: the traditional one with pedal assistance offers between 80 and 100 kilometers of autonomy on a single charge (by the way: the battery is fully recharged in about 4-6 hours) while if you use the full-electric mode you can travel without pedaling, a bit ‘as if you were on board a scooter, for up to 45 kilometers.
The bike Smlro C6 also uses a 7-speed Shimano gearbox and mounts 26-inch wheels, an LCD screen to display travel data such as speed and kilometers traveled and can push up to a maximum of 150 kilograms of weight. It uses disc brakes and mounts a front LED light to ensure good visibility even at night. Finally, it is equipped with an acoustic signaling system to alert the user when the remaining energy in the battery drops below 10%, in order to allow him enough autonomy to decide what to do.
