Description
Ulefone Armor 9 Rugged Phone With Android 10 OS
Ulefone’s Armor range, consisting of well-equipped outdoor smartphones, gets a new addition. After the Ulefone Armor 7, however, you skip a number and will next launch the Ulefone Armor 9. The China Smartphone will be financed by crowdfunding. The campaign will be open for funding on Kickstarter from 29 June. To announce the Ulefone Armor 9, the manufacturer has again started a giveaway where 5 devices will be raffled.
On the outside the Ulefone Armor 9 is again a typical “rugged phone” and retains several basic features of the last Armor smartphones – e.g. the possibility to attach a wrist strap. But there are also changes. For example, the back of the Armor 9 now looks more robust and at the same time, with its rather rough finish, it provides plenty of grip in the hands. At the side, the Chinese mobile phone is again protected from stress by thick metal struts.
The main camera has grown by one sensor and now offers four sensors. Exact details of the cameras are not yet known, but the manufacturer promises a 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor and a thermal imaging camera with FLIR sensor. The front camera is still inside a Drop Notch. The basis for the Ulefone Armor 9 is the Mediatek Helio P90. This offers plenty of power and good performance even in games and was already used in the predecessor. Furthermore, the manufacturer promises 8GB RAM, 128GB memory and support for NFC with Google Pay. Android 10 will be used as the operating system on the Ulefone Armor 9.
Further details about the Ulefone Armor 9 are currently still pending. This includes the price and the planned release date. However, Ulefone should announce the crowdfunding campaign by the start of the campaign at the latest.
