Urban Drift S006

Urban Drift S006 is an electric scooter with an interesting look and pretty good specifications, which I recently discovered in the offer of Gearbest.com . About Urban Drift, as a manufacturer, I could not tell you much, S006 being the first product in its portfolio that I met in the offer of Chinese stores. At first glance, it seems to be a brand more focused on the US market.

The presentation images made me think quickly of Boosted Rev, most likely due to the chassis that has that slightly elongated shape. I like the way it looks and seems to be quite robust, suitable both for the city and for the areas where asphalt is missing.

This is possible thanks to the 10-inch pneumatic wheels, which offer extra stability, while also cushioning the unevenness of the asphalt much better, so that the scooter is more comfortable. Over time I have tested quite a few electric scooters, both full and pneumatic wheels, and without thinking too much, I would always choose pneumatic wheels, their only minus being the risk of breakdown.

Urban Drift S006 weighs 18 kilograms and can support up to 150 kilograms. The folding system seems to be very well thought out, and the legroom much more generous than in the case of models with 8-inch wheels. The motor is integrated in the rear wheel, has a nominal power of 350 W or a maximum of 500 W, and the ascent slope is 15 degrees. The maximum speed it can reach is 25 Km/h. The battery has a capacity of 8 Ah and promises a range of up to 30 kilometers with a single charge. A full charge takes 4 hours.

Urban Drift S006 is equipped with both a disc brake and an electronic brake. On the handlebars there is a button for closing / opening, one for setting the mode of use, and in the center a console where detailed information on battery capacity, current speed and distance traveled are displayed. The screen used seems to be a quality one, as well as the throttle or the buttons for setting it. The scooter and the LED stop light are not missing from the scooter equipment.
