Xiaomi Mi Reader Pro

The manufacturer Xiaomi has started to invest in the consumer electronics space with the Mi Ebook Reader. After this first foray under its own brand name, the Mi Ebook Reader Pro has just been launched. It has a larger screen diagonal (7.8 inches vs. 6 inches) while retaining the monochrome e-ink screen technology, which ensures a long battery life thanks to its very low power consumption.

It offers a resolution of 1872 x 1404 pixels with a density of 300 ppi and frontlight illumination. On board, there is also a quad-core processor providing power to offer a reactive interface, WiFi / Bluetooth and support for voice commands, all running Android 8.1.

The Mi Ebook Reader Pro is only 7mm thick for 251g and promises up to 70 days autonomy with its 3200 mAh USB-C rechargeable battery. It is currently only available in China at a price of $269.99.
