Alldocube VBook is a 13.5 inch notebook with the same very high resolution screen that Microsoft Surface Book (BEN 3000×2000) should have. Other features include an Intel Core M3-6Y30 processor, 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. Well, the Alldocube VBook can be purchased at a ridiculous price per hour from Aliexpress!

Despite being really cheap, like these chinoisons is made of aluminum of excellent strength and quality to the touch. In addition, in the silver color it always looks clean and without fingerprints. With 1.5 kg it is not super light but it is definitely fine. I like the fact that you can open it at about 180 degrees. It opens and closes without any problems.

The included charger is not even USB-C, which is very sad. But on the positive side, there is also a USB-C port. And you can use it to charge your notebook, but also to connect a monitor and of course normal storage. There is no SD card slot.

The Aldldube VBook has a normal sized and well spaced keyboard. The ride is not exceptionally smooth if you really want to be punctilious, but the keyboard is perfect. Nothing to complain about here. And this also applies to the touchpad. It is certainly not the largest but quite large although I still prefer the mouse. And it is a precision touchpad that supports all Windows 10 multitouch gestures.

As is common with cheap laptops, speakers are not at all exceptional. They are located behind the hinge of the screen and are just fine. They lack a bass and sound a little flat. Yes, it’s fine for YouTube, but don’t expect an exceptional audio experience.this is what I can say about the 2 megapixel webcam. Nothing special or good, but usable for video chatting.

What really struck me is the exceptional quality of the screen, never seen a screen so sharp, color-calibrated and comfortable on a Chinese laptop. Well, it is an IPS display also used on Microsoft’s 13.5 inch Surface Book with a 3:2 format and a very high resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels.

The viewing angles are very wide and the screen is also very bright. It is also nice to see that the screen is completely laminated and the colors look great. It’s definitely the one that offers the best experience, if you don’t aim for maximum performance but use it for office, reading, blogging and light applications is definitely the one to prefer!

It is not the top speed as SSD, but it is capacious and is quite fast compared to traditional hard-disk allowing a very fast operation compared to the PCs that we find in Italian media stores.

Unfortunately, it is not as surprising as the screen. Alldocube instead uses a bit older hardware. Inside it runs an Intel Core M3 processor that is not bad compared to celeron but it is not an eighth generation processor. In addition, we have 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. If you open the chassis, you can change the SSD.

In the Geekbench benchmark comparison you can see that the 6th generation Intel Core m3 is faster than the Intel Pentium processors found in most of the cheaper tablets and notebooks. In real use the performance is certainly good enough for normal office work and web browsing. Chrome and Microsoft Word work great. Thanks to that 8GB of RAM you can have a good number of open cards.

YouTube performance is good when watching full HD videos. Sometimes YouTube may seem a bit late in 4K. This is especially true when you want to watch this kind of idea. It gets better after waiting a couple of seconds. But I think it is better to watch it at 1080P because you will have a better experience.

Even PHOTOSHOP runs well for non super professional use, it’s fast and responsive but could probably go down with dozens of applied effects and levels. For the use of a common user even adobe packages are usable!
