A computer in the palm of your hand! BlitzWolf BW-MPC1 not only has a pocket size but also one of the most interesting spec sheets in its category. Computer enthusiasts, curious, fetishists of the latest hitech gadget? Or simply looking for a computer that can allow you to work, study, surf the Internet and watch videos? The new mini-PC proposed by BlitzWolf is suitable for a very wide audience of users.

The name BW-MPC1 recalls the NUC project of Intel, which in fact is the supplier of the processor, a quad-core Intel Celeron J4125, combined with 8GB of LPDDR4 memory and 128GB of SSD storage. The whole thing is cooled by a fan (essential to avoid overheating issues) and is housed in a 139x139x39 mm metal chassis! There is no internal battery but it can be charged via the same USB-C as the smartphone, for maximum versatility and portability. The interfaces also include 1 HDMI 1.4 video output, 1 audio jack, 2 USB 3.0 and a microSD reader, while on the networking side we find Bluetooth and WiFi 2×2.

A MINI PC, easy to carry but with a recent processor (it’s a Gemini Lake Refresh presented in mid-2019), a more than decent set of interfaces for the small space available on the chassis, support for 4K TVs and monitors, and with the convenience of USB-C and micro-SD reader on board! These features make it one of the most convincing and complete systems in its class, even considering the starting price of 159 USD.

Continuing to talk about other mini PCs, but of a very different range, Asus has recently presented PN50, a device equipped with the latest APU home AMD, codenamed Renoir, capable of providing respectable performance.
