Description
It is hard to say how popular are Chuwi products among Polish customers, but the fact is that it has many interesting devices in its offer. Chuwi SurPad – a tablet with great potential – has just joined this group.
The Chuwi brand regularly introduces new devices to the market – recently, for example, the promising Chuwi GemiBook laptop and tablet with a good specification of Chuwi HiPad X. The latest product of this manufacturer is Chuwi SurPad.
For a long time now, tablets have not only been multimedia consumption devices, but the global SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to the fact that many more people have started to treat them as a fully-fledged tool to work and/or learn.
It is clear that manufacturers are responding to this trend, including Chuwi. Its latest proposition is also multi-tasking, because it is not only a tablet, but also a workstation (after connecting with the magnetic connector of the keyboard-eti with a foot and taking a dedicated HiPen style in hand).
There should be plenty of room to work because the Chuwi SurPad offers a 10.1″ IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. Although the frames around it are not narrow, many people may even consider it an advantage, as it will allow you to grasp the device confidently in your hands.
In terms of performance, it shouldn’t be bad either, because the tablet is equipped with a 2.0 GHz MediaTek Helio P60 processor, which works with 4 GB LPDDR4x. The built-in memory (UFS type) has a capacity of 128 GB and can be doubled by supporting microSD cards.
Chuwi SurPad will also provide users with freedom of choice and great mobility as it offers two nano SIM slots with 4G LTE support, including one hybrid (i.e. instead of a SIM card, you can put a microSD card in it). In addition, the device will also provide its owners with GPS, and because it is not too heavy (it weighs 542 grams and is 9.2 mm thick), it will be able to be transported freely from place to place.
Chuwi SurPad works under the control of the Android 10, and for its power supply will take the 8000 mAh battery. The casing is almost entirely made of metal. On top of that there is also a 3.5 mm headphone connector and USB-C port.
Although the Chuwi SurPad is already on the manufacturer’s website, we do not know its price. I also do not have information about the availability of this tablet on sale yet.
