The Chinese brand ADO will also offer the latest A20 e-bike on Banggood. Priced at 769.99 USD, it looks grown-up – like more and more e-bikes of this kind from Asia.

Most recently, the Fiido D11 e-bike surprised us with its technical specifications and price. The e-bike from Asia weighs just under 13 kilograms and costs significantly less than the established competition.

The equipment is really impressive and it is remarkable how the image of the “cheap e-bike from the Far East” is slowly changing. There is a world of difference between the Fiido D11 and the first e-bikes from Xiaomi that we presented here. And even the recently presented ADO Z20C at a price of $889.99 seems somehow “cuddly”, but only conditionally suitable for everyday use.

On the one hand, there are toys for the trunk that can hardly be ridden more than two kilometers without pain; on the other hand, there are e-bikes that are conceptually more sophisticated, more stable and of higher quality, and with which adults can also cover longer distances.

Now, the Xiaomi Group also brings a counterpart to the Himo Z20 with the ADO A20, which is definitely aimed at a European clientele. The technical specs at a glance:

The ADO A20 is indeed shipped worldwide and, with a 350-watt motor and pedal assistance of up to 25 or 35 km/h, also meets European and German legal requirements in principle.
