We are just a few hours away from the premiere of the new low cost of Blackview that, in this regard, has anticipated the specifications of the device A90, including NFC, perforated display, multi-camera, Android 11, and an attractive launch promotion.
In view of its premiere, set for May 12, the Chinese brand Blackview has anticipated, with a short promo (113.99 euros vs. 199.99 final), the new low cost smartphone Blackview A90, animated by the Android 11 operating system, with the proprietary interface Doke OS 2.0 that brings a tool to freeze the most energy-hungry apps, a game mode, a system manager (with focus on autonomy, performance, background apps, etc.), and a suite to defragment the storage, freed from junk files.
Classic in its Midnight Black guise, or lively, in the Gradient Blue palette, the Blackview A90 is kept slim (8.8 mm) and handy (back shell with 3D edges), putting at hand, or rather thumb, the fingerprint scanner, located on the right frame. At the bottom, there is, in the right corner, on the short side, the mono speaker, upgraded in the sense of the sound box and the emission unit, without being noisy.
The A-side of the Blackview A90 sports a 6.39-inch OGS LCD display, resolved in HD+ (i.e. 1560×720 pixels) according to a 19.5:9 panoramic aspect ratio, with 450 nits of brightness. Despite being a low-end device, it is in a sophisticated hole in the upper left that was placed the selfiecamera (Samsung S5K4H7), 8 megapixels (AI-based embellishments of Portraits): thus, it becomes possible to grant 89% of screen-to-body to the visual area.
Turned, the device proposes a ingot with semaphore set-up for the multicamera, in which two accessory sensors support the main one, 12 (Sony IMX363, night mode, HDR on photos and videos) megapixels, with LED Flash.
Dual nanoSIM, 4G, GPS (Glonass, A-GPS), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC (for Google Pay, data transmission, payment of transport tickets), and 3.5 mm mini-jack (for headphones, without resorting to a special adapter) form the array of connectivity of the Blackview A90 that, specifically, draws energy from a battery that, sized at 4,280 mAh, ensures even 25 hours of music playback (before the next charge, to 18W, via Type-C). On the logical side, the “engine” of the Blackview A90 is formed by the octacore processor (2.0 GHz) Mediatek Helio P60 (with Mali-G72 MP GPU), while the memories provide 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage (expandable via microSD another 128 GB maximum).
